Thank you so much to you and the team for the work you have done on the garden. For a relatively small space, this was a huge project as there was so much earth to clear to achieve the design we wanted.

We were particularly impressed with how friendly (especially to our small children), polite and professional your team were and the care they gave to even the smallest task.

Garden Wall

The brief: A long-standing client needed a section of their 400 year old 2.4 m high brick wall re-built as it had started to lean over the pavement in their road and was in danger of collapsing. As a listed wall, the re-built section had to be completely in keeping with the original wall. Our solution, which was negotiated and approved by the Council Listed Building and Tree departments, involved our engineer designing a foundation to avoid damaging any tree roots as a first step. We then took down the damaged section, preserving as many of the original bricks as possible to re-use, excavated and then re-built to the agreed listed wall requirements.

Lawnscape have undertaken work in our garden for at least thirty years. The most recent job was the largest they ever undertook for us. The boundary wall is between the pavement and the garden and so a security risk. Harley and his team worked tirelessly on the excavating, piling, safeguarding listed trees and rebuilding and pointing. The result was of the highest standard and entirely met our expectations. This was a complex contract which required great attention to detail and could so easily have felt intrusive. I would recommend them unreservedly.

“We just wanted to thank you for your continually efficient service. You organised and effected the removing of old grass and replacing with new turf so efficiently and with minimum mess. Please thank Adam and Miro for doing such a good job and also you Harley for setting up the watering system and providing the new sprinkler.”

Harley and the team did a wonderful job. They came up with a simple yet charming design that both the neighbour and I were very happy with. They worked very efficiently and tidily and the quality of the work was excellent. The fact that a nearby neighbour asked them to re-do their driveway as soon as they had completed my project is further testimony to their skill and professionalism.
